In a perfect world, I'd put together detailed shownotes with tons of info on each band, links to lyrics and all that jazz. Sadly for you, today is not that day.

Do my vocals sound weird and tinny to anyone in parts of this or is it just me? I'm sure all my settings are the same on my mixer and computer, so maybe it's the room I'm in? Let's hope the mp3 compression hides the worst of it!

    I have listened to your show on several sets of speakers and I think you were right on the money. It's not the mixer or PC. What I hear is ambient noise. I think you said this is the first one from the new house? It sounds like the room is somewhat empty still. bYou could as a stop-gap roll off some highs and dial in some bass. Also, this sounds stupid but I actually made that mistake once... If you have a condensor mic, are you sure you mounted it in the stand correctly after the move? I once swapped out a mic stand and then sounded like crap for a day until I finally figured out I was talking into the back of the thing. That has much less body and because the correct side was now pointing into the room it was picking up all kinds of noise! I am such a dope! :-)

    I love that Kiddo song, so I bought their last album (which doesn't have the song on it, but the company sent along a sampler disc that does include it) and also went to see them in Cleveland last night. Most of their stuff is a little more laid-back and retro than that one, but it's still fun.

    Now I'm thinking about picking up an Icicles CD too...
